RESOLUTION NO. 1338
WHEREAS it is in the public interest and for the public benefit to acquire
nn additional fire station site within the south area of the City of Renton and such
2^.^uisition to be on a cash basis, NW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City Clerk and City Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to transfer the sum of $30,000.00 from the Cedar River Acquisition Fund unto
the Current Fund for the purpose of acquiring certain property within the City of Renton
for a third fire station site. Such transfer shall constitute a loan from the Cedar
River Acquisition Fund and shall be repaid, together with interest at the rate of 41%a
per annum, not later than December 31, 1967. Furthermore, in the event that the City
of Renton hereafter disposes of any surplus property, then the proceeds from any such
sale shall be applied unto the repayment of the aforesaid loan in order to expedite
reimbursement to the aforesaid Fund.
