W�REAS a petition has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton
on or about June 1, 1967, netitionfn� for the vacation of a certain r�ortion of street
as hereinafter more particularly deacribed� and said petition havin� been signed by
the owners of more than two-thirda of the property abuttin,� upon said portict� af
street eou�ht to be vacated� eame bein� described as follows. ta-wit:
That portion of �4cA11 ister Road (County Road #63) lying between
the North 1 ine of Section 20, Twp. 23 H.� Ran�e 5 E� Tr1.P�. and
the northerly mergia of Puget Sound Pawer & Light Co., Shuffletan
No. 1 & 2 200 ft. tranamission line ri�ht of 4�ay, all located in
Renton, Kin� Coua�y, �dashin�ton,

BE IT RESOLVED $Y THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLQJS:
SECTION I: That the�'�- day of July�'1967 at the hour of 8:00 P..M. at the
City Council Chambers in the Cfty Hall of Renton� I:ashin�ton� be and is hereby f ixed
as the time and place when ths aforesaid petition for vacating the aforesaid portion
of etreet shall be heard and determined.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby anthorized and directed to give notice
of said time and hearing as provfded by law; and any and all persons interested therein
or objectin� to said vacation may thea appear and be t�ard thereon� or they may f ile
their written objections thereto with the City Clerk prior to or at the time of the
hearing on asid vacation.
SECTZON III: The City of Renton reserves the right to retein an easement
for utility and other public purposes within said right�of-way aought to be vacated.
