CHANGING. THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES
WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION
DISTRICT (G.) TO MANUFACTURING PARK (M--•P)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of Gerieral Ordinances
of the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports adopted
in conjunction therew.i.th,. the property hereinbelow described has
he.retofore been zoned as General Classification (�) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the City Clerk on or about
October 20, 1976, which petition was duly referred to the Planning
Commission for investigation, .study and public hearing, and a public
hearing having been held thereon on or about November 11, 1976 „
� and said matter having been duly considered by. the Planning Commission
and said zoning request being in conformity with the Cityts. Comprehensive
Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly considered all
matters relevant .thereto, and all parties. having been heard appearing
in support thereof or in opposition ther.eto, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTIOi� I: The following described property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Manufacturing Park (M-P) as hereinbelow
� specified; .the Public Works Director and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance, as amended, to eviderice said rezoning, to-wit:
That portion of Gov. Lot 2 and of the NE 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 36 , Township 23 ; Range 4; E, W.M. ,
lying Easterly of West Valley Road and Wes:terly of Puget
Sound Electr.ic Railway former ri.ght. of way and lying
between lines which are res:pectively 450 feet and 756
feet North of, measured at right angles :thereto, and
parallel to the North line of S .W. 43rd .Str-eet..
Consisting of approximately 6 .43 acres.

43rd Street, Renton, King County, Washington)
