AN ORDINANCE OF THE CTTY OF REN.TON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PR0-
PERTIES WITHIN THE CITY. OF RENTON FROM GENERAL
CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) TO BUSINESS DISTRICT

WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City. of Re.nton" , as amended, and th.e maps and reports adopted
in conjunetion therew.ith.,. .the property he:rei:nbelow .described has
heretofore been zo.ned as General Classi�ication District (G) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification �
of said property has been filed with the Planning Department on
or about September. .22, 1976 wh.ich .petition was duly referred to
the Planning;Conuni.ssion� for investigation, study and public hearing, .
and a public hearing having been held ther.eon on or abo:ut October 13 ,
1976, and said matter. having been duly consider.ed by the Planning
Commission and said zoning request being in conformity with the
City�s Compreherisive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having
duly considered all matt.ers. relevant .ther_e.to, and all parties having I
been heard appearing in support thereof or in oppos.ition thereto,

ORDAIN AS �'OLLOWS;

of Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1)as hereinbelow
specified; the Public Works Director and the Planning Director are
hereby authorized and direc:ted to change :the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance, as amerided, to. .evidence said rezoning,. to:-wit:
That portion of Tr:act 39, Hillman' s Lake Washing�on
Garden of Eden Addition to Seattle No. l, according
to the Plat recorded in Volume ll of Plats , page 63
in King County, Washington described as follows :
