AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WI.THIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G.) TO SUBURBAN
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (S.R-1)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV (.Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports adopted
in conjunct.ion th.erewi.th, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zo.ned as General Classification District (G) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classif ication
of said property has been filed with .the Planning Department :on
or about January 18, 1977 which petiti.on was duly referred to the
Hearing Examiner for inve.stigation, .study and public hearing, and
a publ:ic hearing having been held thereon on or .about February 15 ,
1977 , and said matter. having been duly consider.ed by the Hearing
Examiner and said zoning request being in conformity with .the City's
Comprelieris.ive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having
been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto,
NOW THEREFpRE
THE CITY COUN.CIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING.TON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTI.ON I: The following described property in the City
of Renton is her.eby rezoned to Suburban Res.idential District (SR-1)
as hereinbelow s.pecif ied; the Pl:anning Director is her.eby authorized
and directed to change -the inaps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended,
to evi.dence said rezoning,. to-wit:
That portion of. .th.e NOrth half of the South half of
the Southeast :Quarter of the No.rthwest Quarter of
Section 3 , Township. 23 N. , Range 5 E. , W.M. , lying
west of �38th Avenia.e S.E. ; except the north 97 feet
