ORDINANCE N0 . 3126
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE CITY' S COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
AND MAPS AND DATA IN CONJUNCTION THEREWITH
RELATING TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES ..IN TI�E� �ENERAL
VICINTY OF RIPLEY LANE, NORTH ;• OF AND THE �'--MISTY COVE
APARTMENTS , RENTON, WASHINGTON
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Renton and
the City Council have heretofore adopted and filed a "Comprehensive
�"�`D
� Land Use Plan" as evidenced by Resolution No . 1240 , and Ordinance No.
�
21.42, and as same have been implemented and amended from time to time,
� together with the adoption of various codes , reports and records , and
� WHEREAS since said adoption the Planning Commission has
heretofore duly recommended to the City Council, from time to time,
certain amendments to said City' s "Comprehensive Land Use Plan" ; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission held a public hearzng on
or about October 27 , 1976, and said hearing having been continued
from time to time, and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission has made certain findings
and recommendations to the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS the City Council held a public hearing on this
matter on February 7 , 1977 and which said hearing was duly continued [)
to February 28 , 1977 and April 4, 1977 , and all �rties appearing
in favor of or in opposition to said �endmen� to the City' s Comprehensive
Land Use Plan having been duly heard at such public hearing , and
WHEREAS the City Council has duly determined, after due
consideration of the testimony and evidence before it to modify the
recommendations of the City' s Planning Commission, and
' WHEREAS it is advisable and appropriate to amend and
modify the City` s �'�ar�pr�herns��ve Land Use Plan" and such amendment
and modification being in the best interest of the City and for the

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING.TON, DO '
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The aforestated findings and recitals are
hereby found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II : The City of Renton` s "Comprehensive Land Use
� Plan" and maps, data and reports in conjunetion therewith are hereby

�� modif ied and amended, pursuant to the public hearin�sheld in connection
' a v s cified wnich amendments and modifications
therewith as hereln bo e pe ,
�� relate to the following described properties , to-wit:
�
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein.
and said properties described in said Exhibit are hereby designated
as "Single Family Residential" for the area abutting Ripley Lane
and extendin
located north of the Misty Cove Apartments.Pto the northerly City
Limits and that area ; of..:the. Misty Cove Apartments being designated
as "Low Density Multiple Family" on said "Comprehensive Land Use Plan"
and�;r�cords pertaining thereto.
� SECTION III: The Planning Director is hereby authorized
and directed to make the neces,sary changes on said City' s "Comprehensive
Land Use Plan91 and the maps in conjnnction therewith to evidence the
aforedescribed amendment.
SECTION IV : The City Clerk is further authorized and
directed to file this Ordinance as provided by law, and a complete
copy of said document likewise being on file with the offi�e of the
City Clerk, City of Renton.
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its.
passage, ap�roval and five days af ter its publication.
