duly natified the Ci-ty CounciZ o� their in�ention to cammence such
proceedings as provided by law, and as mare particularly specifzed
in RCW 35.13.125 and upon public hearing thereon, %t having been
E determined and the pe-�itiana.ng owners having so agre�d to assume
M �he pre-existing bonded indebtedness of the Ci�y of Ren-�on as same
, pertains �to the territory petitioned to be annexed; and to aecept
that partion o� the City' s Comprehensive Plan as same �ertains
to the subject territory including the applicable zoning code relating
, �hereto, and
I WHEREAS -the Planning Department has duly examined and
verified the signatures on said petition for annexation and deterrnined
i �he as�essed valuation af all the properties , �he �ame being in
I exce�s of 750 of the area to be annexed, in value, a� provided by
I law and said petition also �etting for-�h �he legal description
' af the property according to government legal subdivisio.n or plat,
� and the Planning Commissian of -the City of Renton having duly
considered and recammended -�he annexzng of said property to tY�e
City of Renton; and
WHEREAS the City Council fixed July 25, 1977, at 8• 00
� P.M. as the time and place �or public hearing in the City Coun,cil
� Charnbers, City Hall, Renton, Washington, upon �aid petition and
no-�zce thereof having beerx duly g�ven as� pravided by law, and

WHEREAS pursuant to said notice a public hearing has �
been held at the time and place specified in the aforesaid notice
and the Council having duly considered all matters in connection
with said petition and further determined that all legal requirements
� � and procedures of the law applicable to the petition method for
annexation as specified in RCW 35.13 . 130 et seq have been duly
�+►w complied with, and '
� WHEREAS a proper "Notice of Intention" having been filed '
with the King County Boundary Review Board as required by. law,
and said Boundary Rev.iew Board having duly waived its jurisdiction
thereover as per its letter dated September 29 , 1977
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : �
SECTIOi� I: The aforesaid findings , recitais and deter-
minations are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects; I
all requirements of th.e law in regard to the annexation by petition
method, including the provisions of �RCW 35. 13 .126 , 130 , ..140; 150

and Chapter 189 , Session Laws of�` 1967 , have been duly complied with.
It is, further determined that the �abovementioned petition for an-,
nexation to the City of Renton of the .property and territory herein-
below° described be and the same is hereby approved and granted; �
the following described property being contiguous to the City Limits '
of the City of Renton, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Renton and such annexation to be effective .ori .and after
the approval, passage and publication of this Ordinance; and on
and after said date said property shall be and constitute a part
of the City of Renton and shall be subject to all :its laws and ord-
inances then and thereafter in force and effect; said property
being described as follows :

(Vicinity of 132nd Ave . S .E. (Union Ave. S .E . ) .

and the owners-petitioners of the aforedescribed property shall,
assume the pre-existing bonded indebtedness of the C�ty of Renton
. � , as prescribed in RCW 35.13 . 125 as it pertains to the above described
� property, and said property to be likewise subject to the City' s
Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code.
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication. � .
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
the King County Council, State of Washington, and as otherwise

"SECTION III: The. above described annexed .property' con-
t.iguous to Precinct No. 57 of the City o"f Renton shall be a�nd
constitute a part of Precinct No. 5� of •said City.
