AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON �,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN ,
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL '
CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT

WHEREAS under Cha ter 7 Title N Buildin Re ulations) of Ordinance

No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City .of Renton", as
' amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property
hereinbelow described_has heretofore been zoned as General Classification District (G);
and
WHER,EAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been filed with the Planning Department on or about April 23, 1979, which petition
� was duly referred to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, study and public hearing,
and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about May 22, 1979, and said
matter having been duly considered by the_ Hearing Examiner and�said zoning, request

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: •
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of R.enton is�
hereby rezoned to ftesidence District (R-4) as hereinbelow specified; subject to the
finclings, conclusions and decision dated May 24, 1979; the Planning Director is hereby
authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to

evidence said rezoning, to-wit: .
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof .
. as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property being located at west side of Shattuek Ave.
S. at intersection of South 6th St./Schwartzenberger)
AND SUBJECT FURTHER to that.certain Declaratiori of Restrictive;Covenants executed
by Petitioner-owners on or about J u n e 11 , 19�9 and recorded in the office of the
Director of Records and Eiections, Receiving No. 7906110951 and which said Covenants

DESCRIPTION OF AREA TO BE REZONED TO R-5
That portion of government lot 16 in Section 18,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. , in King
County, Washington, described as follows: �
Beginning at the City of Renton monument at the
intersection of the center lines of 6th Avenue and
Morris Street: thence westerly along the center
line of said 6th Avenue, 662 feet to the westerly
margin of Shattuck Street: thence southerly along
said westerly margin, 30 feet to the true point of
beginning of the tract herein described: thence
continuing southerly along the westerly margin of
said Shattuck Street, 50 feet: thence westerly at
right angles, 120 feet: thence northerly and parallel
to the westerly margin of said Shattuck Street, 50
feet: thence easterly to the true point of beginning.
That portion of the southwest quarter of the south-
east quarter of Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5
East, W.M. , in King County, Washington, more particu-
larly described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the west line of Shattuck
Street, 80 feet south of the center line of 6th Avenue
produced west: thence south along west line of Shattuck
Street, 50 feet: thence west and parallel to the center
line of 6th Avenue, produced west, 120 feet: thence
north parallel to the west margin of Shattuck Street, 50 feet:
