ORDINANCE. NO. 4001
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY.OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING:CLASSIFICATION.OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CI.TY.OF RENTON FROM
HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (H-1) TO BUSINESS
DISTRICT (B-1) (R-035-86 MOTHERS:PARK)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulations) of
Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General. Ordinances of the
City of Renton", as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as Heavy..Industrial District (H-1); and
WHEREAS the City of Renton initiated a proceeding.for.change
of zone classification of said property and the City Council held
a public hearing thereon on. June 2., 1986, and said matter having
been duly considered by the City Council and said zoning request
being in conformity with the City's.C.omprehensive Plan, as amended,
and all relevant matters.having been duly considered, and all parties
having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition
thereto, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY:OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION, I: The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) as hereinbelow
specified and the Building and Zoning Director is hereby authorized
and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended,
to evidence said rezoning, to -wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fullyset forth herein.
(Said property being located at Northwest:.corner
of Park Ave. N and N. 6th Street)
ORDINANCE NO. 4001
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication.

Exhibit "A"
That portion of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 8,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. King County, Washington more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the North line of said subdivision
with the Northerly Extension of the West Right -of -Way Line of Park Ave. N.
according to Renton Farm Plat as recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, Page 97,
Records of King County, Washington, produced North;
Thence South along said West Right -of -Way Line to a point which
lies 215 feet North of the South line of the Northwest 1/4 of the South-
west 1/4 of said Section 8 and the True Point of Beginning:
Thence West a distance of 107.5 feet;
Thence South to a point on a line which lies parallel to and 30
feet North of the South line of said subdivision, a distance of 185 feet;
Thence West along said parallel line to its intersection with the
Northerly Extension of the centerline of Pelly Ave. N.;
Thence North along said Northerly Extension to a point on a line
which lies parallel to and 715 feet North of the South line of said
subdivision;
Thence East along said parallel line to a point on the Northerly
Extension of the West Right -of -Way Line of Park Ave. N. as defined;
Thence South along said West line a distance of 500 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
