HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 4011r it <t Amends Ordinance No. 3635 Amended by ORD 494j_ CITY.OF REN TON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 4011 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF TITLE IX '(PUBLIC WAYS AND PROPERTY).OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" BY ADDING A NEW SECTION RELATING TO COMPLETION OF STREET VACATIONS PRIOR TO PUBLIC HEARINGS ON RELATED LAND USE PROPOSALS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Existing Chapter 13 of Title IX (Public Ways and Property) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by adding the following section: Section 9=1309: Timing and Related Land Use Purposes. Whenever a street vacation is necessary for a land use proposal or whenever an application.for a land usej proposal shows, in fact, a street as being vacated or must have a 'street vacated to complete a land use proposal, then a final decision on the street vacation shall be made prior to.any required public bearing on the related land use proposal. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
