ORDINANCE NO. 1828
AN ORDENANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASH?NGTON,
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRLTORY TO THE CITY OF RENTON.
WHERFAS under the provisions of Chapter 128 of the 1945 Session haws
of the State of Washington, as amended, a petition in writing requesting that
certain territory contiguous to the City Limits of the City of Renton, as here-
inafter more particularly described, be amnexed to the City, was prepared and
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton ar or about October 13, 1959,
bearing the signatures of the owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%)
in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxation of the territory
for which annexation is petitioned herein, which petition sets forth the legal
description of the property according to governmental legal subdivision or plats
and was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of the territory
petitioned to be annexed and the City having duly determined that said petition
fully complied with all the requirements of the law and the City Council being
desirous of entertaining said petition; and the Planning Commission of the City
of Renton having heretofore considered and recommended the annexing of said
property to the City; and

10, 1959 at 8:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City
of Renton, as the time and place for public hearing upon said petition, and
public notice thereof having been given as required by law, including publication
in the City's legal newspaper, inviting all interested persons to appear thereat
and voice approval or disapproval of or objections to the proposed annexation,
and a public hearing having been held at the time and place specified in afore.
said notice and said hearing having been continued from time to time, and the
Council having been advised in the premises and having heard all matters and
interested parties in connection therewith, and the granting of said petition
as hereinafter described, being deemed proper and advisahle and in the public
interest, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT CRDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOIWdS:

SECTION I: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 128 of the
1945 Session Laws of the State of Washington, as amended, it is determined
that the above mentioned petition for annexation to the City of Renton of
the property and territory hereinbelow described be and it is hereby approved
and granted, and the following described property being contiguous to the City
Limits of the City of Renton situated in King County, State of Washington, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the City of Renton, effective on and after the
passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance; and on and after that date
said territory shall constitute a part of the City of Renton and shall be subject
to all the laws and ordinances then thereafter enforced; said property being
described as follows:
Tract 369 and 362 of C. D. Hillman's Lake Washington Garden
of Eden Division i#6 as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, page 84,
records of King County, Washington, less the west 220 feet
of said Tram 362, all situate in King County, State of
Washington.
SECTION II: The above described annexed property contiguous to
Precinct No, 29 of the City of Renton shall be and constitute a part of
Precinct No. 29 of the City of Renton.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal public ati on as provided by law. A
certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Board of King County,
Commissioners, King County, State of Washington.
