AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R.,1) TO
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3)
WHEREAS, under -Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned
as single residence district (R„1): and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a
proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to Residence
District (R..3) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
February 23, 1960, which petition was then duly submitted to the Blanning Commission
for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing.'thereon having
been held on April 27, 1960 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said petition and made certain amend-
ments therein: NOW THEREFORE
FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City of Renton
are hereby rezoned to Residence District (R_3) as specified below: The City Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinances of the
City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said properties being described as follows:
Beginning at the E 1/4 corner of Section 8, T. 23 N, R. 5 E, W.M.;
thence North along the East line of said Section 8 a distance of
995.10; thence N 88053144" W. a distance of 30.61to the true
point of beginning; thence continuing N 88053,44" W. a distance of
160.01; thence N 0057145" E a distance of 663.51; thence S 88053.44"
a distance of 160.01 to the West right of way line of."E" St.;
thence South along said West right of way line to the .true point of
beginning, all situate in Renton, .County of King, State of Washington.
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of.Renton and
in compliance with the plans and specifications and.accompanying data heretofore
submitted by petitioners -owners of said property.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
