AN .ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF RENTON.
WHEREAS under the provisions of Chapter 128 of the 1945.Session Laws
of the.State of Washington, as amended, a petition in writing requesting that
certain territory contiguous to the City Limitsofthe City of.Renton, as here.
inafter more particularly described, be annexed to the City, -was prepared and
filed with the City Clerk of the City of.Renton on or about May 10, 1960,
bearing the .signatures .of the owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%)
in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxation of -the territory
for which annexation is petitioned herein, which petition sets forth the legal
description of the property according to governmental legal subdivision or plats
and wasaccompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of the territory
petitioned to be annexed and the City having duly determined that said petition
fully complied with all the requirements of the law and 'the City Council being
desirous of entertaining said petition; and the.Planning Commission of the City
of Renton having heretofore considered and recommended the annexing of said
property to the City; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of -Renton fixed Tuesday, -May 24,
1960 at 8':00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City
of.Renton, as the time and place for public hearing upon said petition, and
public notice thereof having been given as required by law, including publication
in the City's legal newspaper, inviting all interested persons to appear thereat
and voice approval or disapproval of or objections to the proposed annexation,
and a public hearing having been held at the .time and place specified in afore-
said notice, and the Council being advised in the premises and having heard all
matters and interested parties in connection therewith, and the granting of
said petition as hereinafter described, being deemed proper and advisable and
in the public interest, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 128 of the
1945 -Session Laws of .the.State ofWashington, as amended, it is determined
that the above mentioned petition for annexation to the.City of Renton of
the property and territory hereinbelow described be and it is hereby approved
and granted, and the following described property being contiguous to the City
Limits of the City of Renton situated in King County, State of'Washington, be and
the same is hereby annexed to. the City of.Renton, effective on and after the
passage, approval and publication of this.Ordinance; and on and after that date
said territory shall constitute a part.of the City of Renton and shall be subject
to all the laws and ordinances then thereafter enforced; said property being
described as follows:
That portion of Section 32 T24N R5E W.M. lying northerly of the
existing City -Limits of Renton and southerly, easterly and westerly
of the following described limiting line w
Beginning at a point on the existing City..Limits of Renton,
said point being 220 feet east of the S.W. corner and on the
south line of Lot 362 of C.D. Hillmangs_Lake.Washington Garden
of Eden Division #6 as recorded in volume 11 of Plats, Page
84,records of King County,.Washington; thence north parallel
with and 220 feet east of the west line of said Lot 362 to.
the north line of .said lot; thence easterly along said north
line and along the north line of Lot 369 of said C.D. Hillmants
Division #6 to the east line of said :Section 32; thence north
along said east line to the north right of way line of S.E. 91st
Street; thence west along said north right of way line to the
east right of way line of 112th Avenue-S.E,; thence north along said
east line to the most northerly right of way line of S.E. 88th
Street produced easterly; thence west along said easterly produced
north right of way line and along said right of way line to the
east right of way line of 110th -Avenue S.E.; thence north along
said east right of way line to the north right of way line of
S.E. 86th Street; thence west along said north right of way line
and said north right of way line produced westerly to the east
right of way line of 108th Avenue S.E.; thence south along
said east right of way line to an intersection with the easterly
projected north line of Lot 116 .C.D. Hillmants Lake Washington
Garden of Eden Division #2 as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats,
Page 64 records of King County,.Washington; thence west along
said easterly produced north line and along said north line to
the easterly right of way line of P.S.H. #1; thence southerly
along said easterly right of way line to the north line of
Lot 59 of C.D. Hillman's Lake Washington Garden of -Eden Division
— #1 as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, page 63,records of King
County, Washington; thence east along said north line and along
the north line of Lot 58 of said D*vision #1 to the west line of
Lot 57 of said Division #1; thence south along said west line to
the south line of said -Lot 57,; thence east along said south
line to a point 100 feet easterly of the easterly margin of
108th Place S.E. measured along said south line; thence south-
easterly parallel with said easterly margin to the north right of
way line of.S.E. 96th Street and the end of said limiting line,
all situate in King County, State of'Washington.

SECTION II: The above described annexed property contiguous to
Precinct No. 0 of the City of _Renton shall be and constitute a part of
Precinct No.��_ of the City of Renton.
'SECTION III: This.Ordinance shall be in full force and 'effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law. A
certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Board o.f.King County
Commissioners,- King County, State of Washington.
