Q AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON9 WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE TONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN "PROPERTIES -WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1) TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1). WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as. SINGLE RESIDENCE.DISTRICT (R-1); and WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classificatiomiof said property to BBSINBSS DISTRICT (B-1) has been.filed with the City_Clerk of the City of Renton on or about May 16, 1960, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on June 22, 1960, which hearing was continued to the next regular meeting of the Planning Commission on ,July 13, 1960, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition; VOW THEREFORE, FOLIAWS : BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS SECTION 1: The following described parcels of property in the City of Renton are hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) as specified below: the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed,to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: Lots 5 and 6 of Weed's View Tracts as recorded in Volume 38 of Plats,.Page 4, Records of King County,;Washington. Also: That portion of the NE's of Section 8, T23N..RJ8 W.M. described as. follows: Beginning on the North right-of-way line of 10th Avenue North, said point being 311.169 East of the Easterly right-of-way line of Sunset Highway; thence N 0014130" W a distance of 1001; thence West parallel with the North right-of- way line of 10th Avenue North and 1001 North of said right-of-way line a distance of 15.09?.; thence N 0014130" W a distance of 335.71; thence S 890451130" W it distance of 1501 more or less to the Easterly right-of-way line of Sunset Highway; thenee.Southwesterly along said Easterly right-of-way, line to the North right -mf -way line of 10th Ave - mm North thence.East along said North right-of-way line to the point of Beginning. - and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and .Ordinances of the City of Renton and in compliance with the plans and specifications and accompanying data here- tofore submitted by petitioners -owners of said property. -1- SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect, from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. ,PAS= BY THE CITY _COUNCIL This 26th day ly, 1960.
