AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AMENDING
SECTION 4-728 OF TITLE IV (BUILDING RTGUTA.TIONS) OF ✓�-
(RIENANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF RI+NTON"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE WOR AND THE CITY Q?UNCIL OF THE CITY CF RENTON

SECS: Existing Section 4-728 of Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Renton" as follows:
4-728: APPEALS: Any interested citizen or administrative officer
of the City may sppeal to the Council from any ruling of the
Planning Commission pertaining to the granting or denial of any
permit applied for herunder vhen such ruling is adverse to his
interests, by film vith the Secretary of the Planning Commission
within ten (10) days from such ruling a :written notice of appeal.
Thereupon the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall forthwith
transmit to the Council copies of all papers constituting the record
upon FThicn the action appealed from was taken, and in addition
thereto, the Council may at its roaring receive such further evidence
as seems to it relevant. Upon due and public hearing,1the Council
shall have power by vote of three-fourths 0A) of the councilmen
present to overrule or alter any such ruling of the Planning
Commission pertaining to the granting or withholding of any permit
so applied for.
BE AND THE SAME 16 HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLIMSs

the City Council may affirm or alter or overrule any such ruling of the Planning
Commission pertaining to the granting or withholding of any permit or petition
so applied for and met grant or deny sama.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in fdll force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication,
