AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON$ WASHINGTON, DECLARING THAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF NECESSARY EXPENSESA M CAPITAL OUTLAY NECESSITATED BY SUCH E14ERGENCY. WHEREAS since the adoption of the 1961 Annual Budget of the City of Renton necessary to it has become provide for the e s Y P expenditure of certain funds for the improvement and addition to a Cityts fire station, aJ2 of which were not foreseeablp at the time of the adoption of the 1961 Budget which expenditures for improvement and additions are necessary, and required for the Cityts Piro Departtsut and for the purpose of protecting and safeguarding the public welfare, and WHEREAS it is necessary for the proper administration, operation and maintenance of the City and said Fire Department to appropriate funds for the paymnt of ouch expenditures and improvements, NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS: SEC That the foregoing recitals and facts are hereby found and determined by the City Council to be true and existing and by reason thereof the Council does hereby declare that an emergency exists. is SECTION 7I: That there be and/hereby allowed and established the following sum for expenditure in the following classification and said sum is appropriated for expenditure, to -wit: Capital Outlay, for the improvement and addition to City of Menton Dire Station No* 2, to -wit: DEPARTMENT AND FUND CAPITAL OUTLAY TOTAL "Cumulative Reserve Fund for the acquisition, construction and improvement of a City Ha71, Civic Center and alteration and addition Zo zo to municipal buildings"as per Ordinance Noef ey 000.00 sa�-,00Oa00 SECTION III. This Ordininco is an emergency Ordinance which shall not b0 voted upon until one week sha3-1have elapsed after its introduction, and a copy thereof shall be published and posted as a proposed Ordinance, with a notice of the time set for voting thereon. -1- SECTION IVa This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
