ORDINANCE NO. 1913
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTONsWASHINGTON,FIXING THE ATIOUNT
OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO MEAT THE AMOUNT OF ESTMATED EXPENSES
FOR THE YEAR 1962 LESS THE TOTAL ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES
OTHER THAN TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE SURPLUS, AND LESS THE
f EXCESS MILLAGE LEVY OF 2.547 IMJZ COLLECTED IN 1961.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 14AYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
ZJASHIIdGTON, AS FOLMgS:
SECTION I: The total amount of estimated expenditures required for the
City of Renton for the year 1962 is the sum of $2,788,472.00. The total estimated
revenues from sources other than taxation, including available surplus, is the
sum of $2,062,520.00; therefore the amount necessary to be raised by taxation is
the sum of 3862,452,00, less the sum of $136000.00 (2.547 mills) constituting
an unauthorized excess millage levy collected by the City of Renton during the
year 1961, to wit, the sum of $668,602.00.
SECTION II: There is hereby levied and assessed against the taxable
property, real and personal, within the corporate limits of the City of Renton,
Washington, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenues for said City for
the year 1962, the following amounts, to wit: (Total assessed Valuation -
$53,317,986.00)

SECTION III: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to
the King County Commissioners and such other governmental agencies as provid6d by
law.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
