AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL CIASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations), of Ordinance No.
1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" as amended
and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described
h-ve heretofore ;been zoned as General Classification District (G); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper
petition for change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described properties has
been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about September 5, 1961,
which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation,
study and public hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on September 27,
1961 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing
duly published and posted as provided by law; and aaid Planning Commission having
duly considered and studied said petition, and having made certain recommendation in
connection therewith, and having heard all parties appearing in support thereof or in
opposition thereto; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby
rezoned to Residence District (R-3) as specified below; the City Engineer and the
Planning Diredtor are hereby authorized and directed to change the ps.aofOthe,Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described
as follows:
That portion of the Southwest k of the Northeast k of Section 24,
Township 23 N., Range 4 E.W.M. being known as that portion of
Tracts 7, 8, 9, 10, Sunset Home Gardens, according to the unrecorded
plat thereof lying northerly of Secondary State Highway No. 1-L, said
tracts also known as Tax Lots 49, 50 and 54.
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.

SECTION II:* This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
