AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 1929 REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-2)
TO '.RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-4 - Apartment Houses and Multiple Dwellings)
WHEREAS Ordinance No. 1929 was duly passed and approved by the City Council
and the Mayor under date of December 19, 1961 rezoning certain properties from Residence
District (R-2) to Residential District (R-4 - Apartment Houses and Multiple Dwellings)
and,
1411EREAS it has been determined that the description of the area to be
rezoned is incorrect and needs clarification and amendment, NOW THEREFORE
AS FOLLOWS:
as follows:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
SECTION I: Section I of Ordinance No. 1929 is hereby amended to read
The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned
to Residential District (R-4 - Lptrtment Houses and Multiple Dwellings) as specified
below; the City Engineer aad the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed
to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this
rezoning; said property being described as follows:
That portion of Sections 7 aad 8 of _Township 23 North, Range 5 East
W.M. lying northerly of the center line Fourth Avenue North and said
centerline extended westerly, southerly of the centerline Sixth
Avenue North, westerly of the centerline Park Street and easterly of
the centerline Logan Sheet, EXCEPT Lots 1 through 13, Block 9 and
Lots 1 through 17, Block 10, all in Renton Farm plat as recorded in
Volume 10 of Plats, Page 97, Records of King County, Washington, and
EXCEPT Lots 13 and 14, Block 14, Renton Farm plat No. 2, as recorded
in Volume 11 of Plats, Page 32, records of King County, Washington.
All located in Renton, King County, Washington.
and said re4oning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.
SECTION II: All otheL terms and provisions of Ordinance No. 1929 shall
remain in full force and effect. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
