AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION_OF.CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN -THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL.CIASSIFICATION DISTRICT TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) AND RESI-
DENTIAL DISTRICT -(Rr3)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations), of Ordinance
No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" as amended,
and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described
have heretofore been zoned as General Classification District; and
WHEREAS under the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for
change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described properties has been filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about April 3, 1962, and thereafter
referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing,
and a public hearing having been=held on said matter on or about April 25, 1962 in
the Council Chambers of the City of -Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly
published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Commission having duly .
considered and studied said petition and all parties having been heard appearing
in support thereof or in opposition thereto; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:it The following described parcels of property in the City of
Renton are hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) and Residential District (R-3)
respectively as hereinafter specified, and the City Engineer and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said properties being described as follows:
(a) Rezoning from General Classification District to Business District
That portion of the northeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4, Section 8,
Township 23 North, Range 3 East W.M., lying north of Sunset Highway
(PSH #2) and east of 114th Avenue Southeast (Edwin Dahl Road) less
the east 420' thereof and less the north 456' thereof, all situate
in King County, Washington.
(b) Rezoning from General Classification District to Residential District (R-.3)
That portion of the northeast 1/4 of the northeast 1/4, Section 8,
Township 23.14., Range 5, E.W.M.,.lying north of Sunset Highway (PSH #2)
and East of 114th Avenue Southeast (Edwin Dahl Road) less the East -3201
thereof and less the north 331' thereof and less the above described
portion for B-1, all situate in King County, Washington.

and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
