AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL GIASSIFICATION DISTRICT TO LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT (L-1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title lid (Building Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton« as
amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow
described have heretofore been zoned as General Classification District; and
WHEREAS under the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for
change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described properties has been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about May 5, 1962, and
thereafter referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public
hearing, and a public hearing having been held on said matter on or about June 27,
1962 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of
hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Commission
having drily considered and studied said petition, and all parties having been heard
appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BENI`ON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Light Industry District (L-1)as specified below; the
City Engineer and the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to
change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this
rezoning; said property being described as follows:
Lots 32, 33, 34, Block 21, C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens Division #1,
as recorded in Vol. 17 of Plats, Page 74. Records of King County,
Washington, all situate in Renton, King County, Washington.
SUBJECT HOWEVER, to the covenants and restrictions relative to setbacks
and building lines as filed by Petitioner -Owner with the Office of King
County Auditor, Receiving No,�which covenants shall run with
the land and constitute a part of this/rezoning:
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication..
