AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 1-2501 OF CHAPTER 25, TITLE I(ADKINISTRATIVE)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF G;:NERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON

AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: Existing Paragraph (A) of Section 11-2501 of Title I
(Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1-2501 (A), as amended: Each full time City Employee who has
completed six (6) months continuous service with the City, of Renton shall be entitled
to not more than five (5) days of sick leave; any full tia';e employee of the City of

Renton who has completed one (1) year continuous service u;ith the City shall be
entitled to a period of not more than ten (10) days of sick leave and an additional
period of five (5) days shall be granted to each full time employee for each additional
six (6) months period of continuous service with the City but any such accumulated
period of sick leave shall in no event exceed ninety (90) days; and all of the fore-
going subject to the following provisions, to -wit: 'f
SECTION II: All other terms and provisions of said Chapter 25 to remain
in full force and effect.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in fuli, force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
