AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, 1,7ASHINGTON CRFATING
AND ESTABLISHING A CERTAIN TRUST FUNT TO BE ItNOWN HERE
AFTER AS THE "SPECIAL DEPOSIT FUND"..
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOUS:
SECTION I: There
is hereby established
and created
a certain trust fund
to
be known and designated as the "CITY OF RENTON'S Special Deposit Fund". Said fund
shall be used for the purpose of holding or retaining cash deposits or other securities
left with the CITY including but not limiting to the loan of Engineering plans to
contractors and other parties, breaking of curbs pursuant to City Ordinances, bid
deposits and such other related matters whereby the CITY is holding such monies or
securities in trust pending the fulfillment of certain conditions- or requirements by
the depositor or depositors. The City Clerk and the City Treasurer ere hereby
authorized and directed to take all necessary steps to establish said trust fund and
in compliance with the recommendations of the "Public Administration Service" review
dated October 1963 relating to "Financial Administration and Accounting" of the
CITY OF RENTON.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its approval, passage and legal publication.
