AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY_.OF RENTON, WASHINGTON;AMENDING CHAPTER 7
(WARDS AND PRECINCTS) OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE) OF ORDINANCE NO.
1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON,"
AS HERETOFORE AMENDED BY ORDINANCE.NO, 2100.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE .MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
Existing Sections 1-728, 1-729, 1-740 and 1-746 of Chapter 7 (Wards and
x
Precincts) of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No: 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" are hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1: 1-728 As Amended. PRECINCT N0.-26: All that portion of the
City of Renton lying South of 7th Avenue South, Southeast 144th Street, 8th Avenue
South and 9th Avenue South; East of the center -lines of Benson Road and Jones Street;
North and West of the existing City Limits; also West of the center-linesof Cedar
Street, Renton Street, and Grant Street
1-729, As Amended,: PRECINCT NO. 27: All that portion of the City
of Renton lying South of the center -lines of South 140th Street, Sunset Boulevard West,
Pacific Coast Railroad right-of-way, and South 160th Street, also South of the South
line of the Plat of Earlington Addition; east of the center -lines of the abandoned
"Lack. River Channel, 84th Avenue South, and Talbot Road; North of the Center -line of
South 176th Street and the existing City Limits; and West of the center -lines of
Benson Road, Davis Street, and Rainier Avenue.
1-740As Amended: PRECINCT N0. 38: All that portion of the City of
Renton lying East of the center -lines of "N" Street, "0" Street, and "P" Street;
North of the center -line of 9th Avenue North and North of the North line of the Plat
of Albert Balch's President Park No. ;4.
1-746, As Amended: PRECINCT NO. 44: All that portion of the City
of Renton lying South of the center -lines of 9th and 10th Avenues North; East of the
East line of the corrected Plat of Renton Highlands No'. 2; North of the Center -line of
7th Avenue North; and West of the center -lines of "N" Street and 110" Street.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
