RESOLUTION N0, 717
TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLONS:
1. WHEREAS a properpetition for annexation to the City of Renton accompanied by plat
or drawing, signed by the owners of more than 75% in value of the property therein des-
cribed by legal subdivisions or plats and proposed for annexation, has been filed with
the City Council;
2, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that Tuesday, the 21st day of December, 1945 at 8:00
o'clock P.M. at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Renton be and
is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing on said petition.
3. AND IT IS FLRTIER. RESOLVED, that the City Clerk cause one publication of Notice of
such hearing to be published in the Renton News Record prior to such date of hearing,
specifying the time and place of hearing and inviting interested persons to appear and
voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; and that such Notice be posted in
three public places within the territory proposed for annexation at least one week
prior to such hearing.
4. The territory referred to in aforesaid Petition and described therein, and referred
to hereinabove, which is proposed for such annexation is as follows:
Portion of Sections 8 and 9 Twp. 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M. more particu-
larly described as follows: Beginning at the quarter corner common to
Sections 8 and 9 gyp. 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M. thence north along section
line North 0057145" East 955.08' to the existing city limit and true
point of beginning; thence West along city limit line North 89032tl6"
West., 1060,03'; thence South 0056110" West 331.551; thence North 3903lt52"'
West 264.981; thence South 0056136" West 563.02t; thence North 89002t21"
West, 184.051; thence South 8028159" West 102.681 to East and West center
line of Section 8 Twp. 23 North Range 5 E.W.M.; thence along said section
line to its intersection with the test line of State Highway No. 2;
thence northerly and easterly and southerly along said line of said high-
way to its intersection with the existing city limit line; thence south
along said city limit line South 0049115" West 440.301; thence North 89053t""
West, 322.30t to the point of beginning.
