HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 0796h + J RESOLUTION NO 796 (Regarding Petition to Vacate Alley) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON: Section 1: WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk by W. H. SCUDDER Secretary and duly authorized agent of Pacific Car & Foundry Co., owners of Lots 1 to 18, inclusive, and Lots 22 to 36, in- clusive, of Block 13, Car Works Addition to Renton, and by UIE L. COLUMBO>wner of Lots 20 and 21, Block 13, Car Works Addition to Renton, requesting that a(Portion of the alley) abutting the following property, f to -wit: Being the past eighty (80) feet of the sixteen (16) foot alley abutting Lots 1 and 27 and Lots 20 and 21, all in _lock 13, Car Works Addition)to the City of Renton. BE (VACATED;) said petitioners being the owners of the private property abutting upon said alley. Section 2: NOW THEREFORE, the 27th day of February ,1951, at the hour of .8 P.M. in the City Council Chambers in the Cittr. Hall of Renton, Renton, Washington, be and is hereby fixed as the time and place for public hearing to be held by the Council upon said petition. Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to give notice of said hearing in the manner provided by law by posting said notice thereof in three public places in the City and in a conspicuous place on the alley sought to be vacated, which notice shall state the object of said peti- tion and the hearing, the description of the alley involved and the time and place of hearing thereon.
