RESOLUTION N0. l
WHEREAS, a shortage of rental housing accommodation does exist in the City
of Renton,9 and WHEREAS such shortage requires continuance of the Federal
Rent Control beyond the 30th day of June., 1951.
NOW , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
That Federal Rent Control over rental housing accommodation Within the
City of Renton,, in compliance With the "Housing and Rent Act of 1950" be
and is hereby extended until the 31st day of December, 1951 or for the
duration of the present emergency.. Whichever period may be longer.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 26th day of June., 1951.
