RES OLUTI ON NO. 859
WHEREAS, the CITY OF RENTON, as Lessee, heretofore entered into
and executed a certain Lease Agreement with one MILTON WILLIAMS, as
Lessor, under date of August 11, 1953, providing for the leasing unto
the CITY OF RENTON of the following described premises, to -wit:
The South 25 feet of Lot 3 and the North 372 feet of Lot 4
(A total of 622 feet fronting :on Main Street) LESS a portion
for alley, in Block 10, Town of Renton Plat, as per record
in the office of the County Auditor, King County, State of
Washington;
for the use of and purpose of establishing and maintaining an�ff-
street parking lot) and said Lease further providing for the c llection
of parking meter fees, payment for the purchase of said parking meters,
and further providing for a certain division of net proceeds therefrom,
r NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That there be and hereby is CestablisheO in the office
of the City Treasurer of the City of Renton a special fund to be known
and designated as the �F OFF-STREET PARKING FUND-1'�,AIN STREYY� The City
Treasurer of the City of Renton is hereby authorized and directed to
collect and deposit all parking fee nand to pay and transfer at regular
intervals the sum or sums thus collected to the seller of said parking
meters and accessories thereto until such time as the total purchase
price thereof has been paid off by the City of Renton.
Section 2: Upon payment in full of said parking meters and
accessories thereto, the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and
directed to pay unto the Lessor of the premises fsbove described at
regular monthly intervals, a sum equal to seventy-five (75) per cent
of said parking meter fee collections from the above premises and in
pursuance S4 that certain Lease Agreement of August 11, 1953• The
balance of said collections to be deposited and retained in said fund.
Section 3: Any and all monies collected from said meters and
received by the City of Renton shall be deposited in said "OFF-STREET
PARKING FUND -MAIN STREET" and said monies shall not be expended for
any other purpose or purposes than those specified herein.
