WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employee of the City of Renton
is a member of the Washington State -Wide City Employees' Retirement
System, in the classification of UNIFORMED PERSONNEL, and said person
having attained the retirement age of sixty (60) years of age, and
said person being physically fit to continue such employment and service
of the City of Renton and said person having requested extension of
the Compulsory Retirement System, and the Chief of Police and the City
Council of the City of Renton having approved the request of said
employee:
N OtT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON.,
That the time of compulsory retirement of the following named
employee of the City of Renton, who is a member of the Washington State -
City
ifide./E=loyees, Retirement System under the classification of UNIFORMED
PERSONNEL, to -wit:
ANKER A. ANDERSEN
Be and the same is hereby extended to such time as said employee
(to wit: May 19 1956)
shall attain the age of sixty-two (62) years, /or the maximum extension
allowed by law, whichever period is less.
A copy of this Resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV,
Chapter 71, Laws of 1947, as amended by Chapter 228, Laws of 1953, shall
be transmitted by the G`lerk of the City of Renton to the Board of Trustees
of the aforesaid Washington State -Wide City Employeest Retirement System.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON this 16th
day of March, 1954.
