RES GLUT I ON No. 201
WHEREAS, the below mentioned department funds of the City of

Renton, to -wit, the Water Department Fund was required to meet certain
obligations and expenditures which were not foreseeable at the time of
the adoption of the 1956 Budget, including emergency repairs and main-
tenance; AND WHEREAS, it is necessary for the proper administration,
operation and maintenance of the City and said Department to transfer
funds between items within the general class of "Maintenance and Oper-
ation" as provided for by Chapter 322 of the 1955 Session Laws, NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The foregoing recitals and facts are found and determined
by the City Council to be true and correct and that it is to the best
interests of the City of Renton to cause the hereinbelow specified
transfers to be made.
2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to make
and execute transfers between the following specified items within the
general class of "Maintenance and Operation" of the Water Department
Fund, to -wit:
(a) Transfer of the sum of $2,500.00 from "Water Purchases!"
(Maintenance and Operation), and the further sum of
$4,000.00 from "Equipment Rentals" (Maintenance and
Operation), unto "Maintenance and Supplies" (Maintenance
and Operation).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 21 .5y(- day of August, 1956.
