WHEREAS, a petition for the approval of a plat for the sub-
division of a certain tract of land within the City Limits of the City
of Renton, as hereinafter more particularly described, was presented
and filed with the City Council of the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS, after due investigation, the Planning Commission
of the City of Renton has considered and recommended the approval
of said plat; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Renton, at
its regular meeting on March 27, 1957, at 8:00 P.M., at the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Renton, fully approved said
plat after a public hearing thereon and due notice thereof having
been posted as required by law, and no protest or objection having
been made or filed to said petition; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice a public hearing on said
petition for the approval of the plat was held at such time and date,
and the approval thereof being deemed proper and advisable, and in
the public interest, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS.,
SECTION I: The petition heretofore submitted for approval
of a plat, known as A. Alden See's lst Addition, described as follows:
A. Alden See's 1st Addition to the City of Renton,
a replat of Block 1, Town of Renton Plat and a portion
of bed of Cedar River. described as follows:
All of Block 1, Town of Renton Plat and that portion
of the old bed of Cedar River lying west of the
southerly extension of the east line of Government
Lot 2, Section 17, Township 23 North, Range 5 E.
W.M. , and lying north of the norta line of 2nd
Avenue extended east, all lying south of the southerly
margin of Commercial Waterway No. 2,
is hereby granted and approved as such plat, subject to the laws and
ordinances of the City of Renton.
