AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN TRACTS IN THE CITY FROM RESIDENTIAL TO
COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
Whereas under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith as amended, the tract hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as Residential Use District, and
Whereas under the provisions of Section XV of aforesaid
Ordinance a proper petition for change of zone classification of
said tract to Commercial Use District has been filed with the Clerk
of the City of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City
having recommended such change of classification on condition that.

Fourth Place, and public hearing having been had on said petition
by the City Council on March 28, 1950 pursuant to notice of hear-
ing regularly published, and no protests having been made or filed,
and the King County Planning Commission having been consulted and
express no o 1osition; now, therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following described tract in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned and reclassified as a Commercial Use
District, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the
maps of the zoning ordinance of the City to show this change; said
tract being described as:
That portion of Government Lot 16 in Section 18, Twp 23N,
R 5 E, W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly production
of the center line of Third Avenue with the center line
of State Highway No. 5; thence south 19056"20" east, along
the center line of State Highway No. 5, a distance of
1188.18 feet; thence south 77025'10' west 30.50 feet to
the southwesterly line of said State Highway and the true
point of beginning; thence, at right angles to said south-
westerly line, south 70003140" west 191.30 feet; thence
south 19056120" east, parallel with the southwesterly
line of said State highway to the northerly line of a
tract of land deeded to Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul
Railway Company by deed recorded under Auditor's File No,
2354680, records of King iCounty Washington; thence south
85005100" east, along said Northerly line, to the south-
westerly line of State riighway No. 5; thence north 19056120"
west, along said southwesterly line, tb the true point of
beginning.
Section 2: The rezoning herein granted and ordered is express-
ly conditioned upon the keeping of an access road to and across said
tract, in the line ofandas continuation of Fourth Place, anA ex-
isting street of the 'City.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
