ORDINANCE NO. 1411.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, iJASHINGTON, ADOPTING A CITY
BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1952.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the budget for the City of Renton for the year
1952 prepared and filed with the City Clerk and as approved by vote of
the City Council October 4th, 1951, after due notice and hearing be, and
is hereby in all respects ratified and adopted as such Budget, same being
by this reference incorporated herein as if fully set forth.
SECTlION 2: That there be and are hereby allowed and established the
following total sums for expenditure in each of the following classifica-
tions in said 1952 budget, to -wit:
Salaries and wages. . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 533,202.00
Maintenance and operation . . . . . . . . . . 2837209.81
Capital Outlay. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 82,E+6o.00
Bond &-Interest Redemption Funds . . . . . . . 209257.00
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1182 . . . . . . . . 57000.00
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1183 101000.00
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1184 5,000.00
Total Expenditures (A) . . . $939,128.81
Less Receiots from sources other than
taxation . 765,806.71
Total to be raised by taxation. . . . . . . . $173,322.10
Expenditures to be made from bond issues
not yet authorized (for the acquisition
of a Power & Light System, including
Engineering & Legal Expense) (B) .6,5002000.00
Total budgeted for Expenditures (A) & (B) $7,439,128.81
SECTION 3:- That a copy of the Budget as hereby adopted be trans-
mitted to the office of the State Auditor of Washington, Division of
Municipal Corporations.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
