AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING
PARKING AND ESTABLISHING A LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONE ON A
CERTAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON., AND PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
Section l: tq oading Zonett. A loading zone as herein defined is a
designated portion of the street along the curb reserved for use in loading and
unloading commodities, merchandise, produce, freight or animals by commercial
vehicles only.
Section 2: There is hereby established and designated a certain zone for
loading and unloading of commercial vehicles only on the following described and
designated portion of the street, to -wit:
The southerly 60 feet from the Southeast Corner of Third Avenue
and Williams Street.
Section 3: It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop,
park or angle -park said vehicle any place established as a loading zone as herein-
above defined, except for the purpose of and only for such period of time as is
necessary for, the expeditious loading or unloading of such commercial vehicles.
Section 4: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed and superseded.
Section 5: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined in a sum not to exceed $25.00.
Section 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
