ORDINANCE NO. 1467
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
STATE OF WASHINGTON, CREATING AND
ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL CLAIM FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING CLAIMS
AGAINST THE CITY OF RENTON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there be and hereby is established in the office
of the City Treasurer, pursuant to Chapter 27 of the 1953 Session Laws
of the State of Washington, a special fund, to be known and designated
as the "Claim Fund" for the payment of claims against the City for any
purpose .
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Renton may place mon-
ies into said Claim Fund" from time to time from any other funds which
are available and warrants may thereupon be issued on said "Claim Fund"
in payment of any and all claims for any purpose against the City of
Renton.
Section 3. The accounts of said "Claim Fund" shall be so kept and
maintained as to show the department or departments and respective amounts
for which each warrant is issued and paid.
Section L. Any and all transfers from an insolvent fund to said
"Claim and shall be by warrant.

Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective on the first day
of January' 1954, and after its passage, approval and publication as re-
quired by law.
