AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENT ON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF RENTONFROMSINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL: USE
(RS) DISTRICT TO PUBLIC USE (P-1) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472 and the maps adopted in conjunction
therewith, as amended, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore
been zoned as Single Family Residential Use (RS) District, and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472 a proper petition
for change of zone classification of said property to Public Use (P-1)
District has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton, and
the Planning Commission of said city having duly approved such change of
classification, and a public hearing having been heldthereon by the City
Council on the ~day of April, 1955, pursuant to published notice of

hprotests have been filed or made; NOW THEREFORE,,.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTDN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The following described property in the City of Renton
is hereby rezoned and reclassified as a Public Use (P-1) District, and
the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of
the Zoning Ordinance of the City to show this change; said property being
described as follows:
The North 40 feet of Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 2, Smithers Fourth
Addition to the City of Renton, all situate in ming County, Wash.
Section„2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
