AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE SINGLE
FAHILY DISTRICT TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1.72, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as Residence Single Family District (R -S, now
evidenced by symbol R-1); and
T1iHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to
Residence District (R-2) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City having duly approved
such change of classification, and a public hearing having been held
thereon by the Planning Commission on the 27th day of Jane, 1956, pursuant
to notice of hearing duly published and posted, as provided by law, and no
protests or objections having been filed or grade; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RST T ON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: 'The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby re -zoned and re-classified from Single Family Residence
Use District to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-2), and the City Engineer is hereby
authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the
City to show and evidence this change; said property being described as
follows:
.LOTS 16, 17 and 18, Town and Country Club Bungalow Sites,
located within the City of Renton, King County, State of
Washington;
and said re -zoning being subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472,
as amended by Ordinance No. 1542,
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
