AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER. OF FUNDS BETWEEN GENERAL
CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the
maintenance and operation of the Sanitation Department in order to
meet certain obligations and expenditurds which were not foreseeable
at the time of the adoption of the 1956 budget, including expenditures
incurred for the preservation of public health and sanitation, it is -
hereby founcl necessary for the proper administration, operation and
maintenance of the City and said Sanitation Department to transfer.
funds between general classes as hereinbelow provided, and such trans-
fer is found to be in the best public interest.
SECTION II: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed
to make and execute a transfer of funds in the sum of $495.73 from
the classification of "Current Expense Fund" (Mon -Departmental Item -
State Audit Account) unto theISanitation Department Current Expense
Fund; for materials and supplies under the general classification of
"Maintenance and Operation".
