ORDINANCE NO. 1572
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI TY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM1(R-3)
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO BUSINESS PARKING (B -P)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3); and
WHEREAS, under the p:-ovisions of Ordinance No. 1472, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to
BUSINESS PARKING (B -P) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City having duly approved
such change of classification after a public hearing having been held
thereon by the Planning Commission of the City of Renton on September
26, 1956, pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as
provided by law, and no protests or objections having been filed or
made; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE Q TY OF
RE, NTON, AS FO LLOWS :
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Ren-
ton is hereby re -zoned and re-classified from "RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3)"
to "BUSI1ESS
PARKING (B -P)"
and
the
City Engineer is hereby
authorized
and directed
to change the
maps
of
the zoning ordinance of
the City of
Renton to show and evidence this change; said p? operty being described
as follows:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 27, Town of Renton, King County,
Washington,
and said re -zoning is subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472,
as amended by Ordinance No. 1542.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
