AN ORDINANCE OF RIE CITY CF RENTON, WASHINGTON
PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN
GENERAL CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for
the operation of the various departments and classifications as here-
inbelow described and in order to meet certain obligations for the
payment of expenses, which obligations were not forseeable at the time
of the adoption of the 1956 Budget, it is hereby found necessary for
the proper administration, operation and maintenance of the City of
Renton to transfer funds between general classes as hereinbelow speci-
fied, and as provided in Chapter 322, of the 1955 Session Laws, and
such transfers are hereby found to be in the best public interest.
SECTION II: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to make and execute the following transfers, to -wit:
(a) From Water Fund, Salaries and Wages,
"Consultants" the sum of $1,000.00 unto Water Fund,
Maintenance and Operations, "Compensating Tax".
(b) From Sewage Disposal Fund, Capital Outlay,
the sum of $500.00 unto Sewage Disposal Fund, Salaries
and Wages, for "Assistant Operator's Salary" the sum
$300.00, and for "Extra Labor" the sum of $200.00, a
total of $500.00.
(c) From Garbage Fund, Maintenance and Operation,
the total sum of $1,675.00, itemized as follows: The
sum of $300.00 for"gas,
oil,
pack cans,
etc.;
the sum
of $1,100.00 for
"Equipment
Rental"; the
sum
of $175.00
for "Industrial Insurance", and the sum of $100.00 for
"Pension and Retirement" UNTO Garbage Fund, "Salaries and

Wages, the sum of 1,500.00 for "Extra Labor", and the
sum of $167.00 for "Treasurer's Extra Labor" the sum
of $5.00 unto Garbage Fund,"Maintenance and Opergtion"
"Compensating Tax" and the sum of 03.00 unto Garbage
Fund, Capital Outlay, "Treasurer's Outlay", a total of
$1,675.00. �.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall become effective from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
