ORDINANCE NO. I -r/ 1
AN 0-RDINANCE, OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES.WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON.
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
as Parcel A has heretofore been zoned as "R-2", and the property
hereinbelow described as Parcel B has heretofore been zoned "R-111; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472, as amended,
proper petition s,,for change of zone classification of said properties
had heretofore been filed with the -City Clerk of the City of Renton,
and the PlanningCommission of said City having duly approved such
change of classifications after public hearings thereon_on January 9,
1957, pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as
provided by law, and no protests or objections have been filed or
made; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned and reclassified from "R-2" RESIDENCE DIS-
TRICT to PUBLIC USE (P-1) DISTRICT, to -wit:
Parcel A:
Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 24, Renton Farm Plat #3;
And the following described property in the City of Renton
is hereby rezoned and reclassified from "R-1" RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT to "R-3" RESIDENCE DISTRICT, to -wit:
Parcel B:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line of
the City of Seattle Cedar River pipeline right-of-way
with the westerly line of Hardie Street (formerly 91st
Avenue S.); thence S 10°47'49" W 237.01 feet; thence
S 17012149" W 252.30 feet to the north line of Langston
Avenue; -thence N ?303512411 W 203.01 feet; thence N 0014151"
W 267.28 feet; thence S 89051111" E 160.00 feet; thence
N 0014151" W 150.00 feet to the south line of said pipe-
line; thence S 89°51111't E 154.18 feet to the point of
beginning; _
and the City Engineer of the City of Renton is hereby authorized and

directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City Cf
Renton to show and evidence the aforedescribed zoning changes; and
said rezoning is subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472,
as amended by Ordinance No. 1542.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
