AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON: WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN
RESIDENCE NO. 1 DISTRICT (SR -1) TO SINGLE RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R-1)
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 DISTRICT (SR -1);
and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance,
as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said
property to SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1) has been filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Renton, on or about December 18, 1957, which
petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon
on January 22, 1958, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton,
all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as pro-
vided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and
studied said Petition and having recommended to the City Council to
rezone said property as requested, and said rezoning being in the
public interest; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE hAYOR AiuD THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in
the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1);
- -a the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the
of the zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to show and evidence
changes; said property being described as follows:
Block 16 of Renton Highlands No. 2, LESS Skyland
Heights No. 1, all located in Renton, King County,
Washington.
SECTION III This Ordinance shall be in full force and
