ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING.CLASSIFICATION.OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (Rw3) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (Rt -2).
.WHEREAS, under Ordinance -No. 1472, as amended, and .the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described had heretofore been
zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..3); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions.of the aforementioned Ordinance,, as amended,
the City Council of the City.of Renton upon its own motion petitioned for a change
of zone classification of said property to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-2) which motion
by the City was made on or about January 14, 1958; and the City Clerk was thereupon
directed and authorized to duly publish and post notices as provided by law, fixing
the 15th day ofApril, 1958, as the date of hearing on said motion, all pursuant
to notice of hearing duly published andposted as.provided by law; and the City
Council having duly considered said 'matter and having found and determined that
such rezoning would be in the public interest, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby zoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-•2); and the City Engineer is hereby
authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances of the City of
Renton to show and evidence these changes; said property being described as follows:
Block 30,_Corrected Plat, Renton.Highlands No. 2, all located
in Renton, King.County, Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its. passage, approval and legal publication. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized to forward a copy of this Ordinance unto the Public Housing.Adminis-
tration, San Francisco Regional Office.
