AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT N0. L (SR -1) to
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..3)
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, �nd the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow describ d have heretofore been
zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT NO. 1 (SR -1); and
WHEREAS, under .the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said properties to RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R..3) has been filed with the City Clerk of the ity of Renton on or about
September 24, 1958, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission
for investigation and study, and a public hearing having leen held thereon on or
about October 8, 1958 in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant
to Notice of hearing duly published and posted as provide by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said. Petition, and there being no
written or oral protest thereto, and the Planning Commission having recommended to
the City Council to rezone said property as below stated; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCI OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R_3) as specified below; and the
City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change Ithe maps of the zoning
ordinances of the City of Renton to show and evidence thes changes; said property
being described as follows:
Lots 1 .through 5 inclusive, Block 1, and Lots 1 hrough 6
inclusive, Block 2, Graceland Terrace, all locat d in Renton,
King County, Washington
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinanceslof the City of Renton and
in compliance with the plans heretofore submitted by petitoner.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full forle and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication..
