AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING'CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S-1)
TO RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (Rrl).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, asamended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S-1); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to RESIDENCE
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, study and hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon
on or .about March 27, 1957, at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the .City of
Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided
by law, and said Planning,Commission having duly considered and studied said
petition, and there being no oral or written protests thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
AS FOLLOWS':
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R..1) as specified
below; and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps
of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes;
said property being described as:
The West half of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 9, Township 23 North, Range
5 E.W.M., also known as Albert Balch"s President Park No. 12,
all located in Renton, King County, Washington,
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of -Renton
and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by
petitioner -owner of said property.
.SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
