ORDINANCE NO. % 7
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING.CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 (SR -1) TO
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3).
N WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472; as amended, and the maps adopted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore
been zoned as SUBURBAN.RESIDENCE DISTRICT NO. 1 (SR -1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as
amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R_3) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton, on or about December 9, 1958, which petition was then duly submitted
to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and a
public hearing having been held thereon on or about January 28, 1959, in the
City Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing
duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission
having duly considered and studied said petition, and there being no oral or
written protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE -CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City
of Renton are hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..3) as specified below;
and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of
the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes;
.said property being described as:
Tract 46-A of Block 46, and Block 43, Corrected Plat of
Renton Highlands No. 2, all located in Renton, King
County, Washington.
and said re -zoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
