AN ORDINANCE OF THE, CITY OF RENTCK$ WASHINGTON,CHANGING
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R41, MULTIPLE DWELLING)
WHEREAS under -Ordinance No. 1472 as ascended, and the maps adopted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance ac
amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to
RESIDENCE DISTRICT M, MULTIPLE DWELLING) has been filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Renton, which petition was then submitted to the Planning Commission
for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been
held thareon on or about February 25, 1959 in the Council Chambers of the City
of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as
provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied
said petition, and there being no oral or written protest thereto; NOW THEREFOEE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF
RENTON as follows
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence District (R4, Multiple Dwelling) as
specified below; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change
the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning;
said property being described as:
Lot 17, Block 2, Renton Farm Plat, all located in the
City of Renton, King County, Washington
Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton
and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by
petitioner -owner of said property.
SECTION II This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
