AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (SI) TO LIGHT
INDUSTRY (L1).
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con.*
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as
SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S1); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of .said property to LIGHT
INDUSTRY (L1) has been filed with the -City Clerk of 'the City of Renton on or about
April 8, 1959,.which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about April 2.2, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of"Renton, all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and there being no oral
or written protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned -to LIGHT INDUSTRY (L1) as specified below; the City.Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the
City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows:
The Westerly 500 feet of the Northeast quarter (NEk),.Section 30,
Township 23 North, .Range 5 E.W.M.
and
The Westerly 500 feet of the Northwest quarter (NWk) of the South»
east quarter (SEk) Section 30, TownshiK 23 North,.Range 5 E.W.M.,
all located in Renton, King County,.Was ington.
Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of -Renton and
in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore .submitted by ,Petitioner
owner of said property.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval .and legal publication.
