ORDINANCE NO. / 760
AN.ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 51104 OF TITLE V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1628.ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 51104 of Title V (Business Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled MCODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
reading as follows:
"Section 51104: PERPETUAL TYPE PUNCHBOARDS: FEES:
Perpetual Type punchboards including the "spindle type" punch»
boards.are hereby prohibited. Perpetual Type punchboards as
used in this Chapter shall include punchboards which are operated
by the use of one or more levers which when tripped.move the
objects used in -determining the winning participant into visual
tabulating space from a reservoir of such objects in the board
or device, or such ,"'spindle" or "true" devices to which tickets
or raffles can be added to from time to time,, thus replenishing
the amount of tickets or raffles theretofore drawn or removed."
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

Chapter shall include punchboards which are operated by the use of one or more
levers which when tripped move the objects used in determining the winning par»
ticipant into visual tabulating space from a reservoir of.such objects in the
board or device. -"Spindle" or "tree" type devices to which tickets or raffles
can be added to from time to.time, thus replenishing the amount of tickets or
raffles theretofore drawn or removed, are likewise prohibited, unless such
,"'spindle" or "tree" devices are fixed.and arranged in such.manner, either by
proper welding or locking both ends of the wire holding said -tickets or raffles
so as to prevent the replenishing of tickets .or raffles drawn or removed from
such device.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
