AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION
10-1-107 OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE N0, 1628 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES -OF THE CITY OF RENTOXW
BE IT CRDAINED BY THE MAYOR AMID THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 10-1-107 of Title X (Traffic) of Ord -
inane No. 1628 entitled 11CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" read-
ing as follows:
Section 10-1-107 - ADDITIONAL SPEED LIMITS: The speed
on all streets within the City limits shall be twenty-five (25)
miles per hour, except that on the following streets and high-
ways within the City the maximum lawful speed shall be 'thirty-
five (35) miles per hour, to-,;dt:
1. Dunlap Canyon Road (formerly State Highway No. 10)
from Rainier Avenue to the westerly City limits.
2. Rainier Avenue from Third,Avenue to the northerly
City limits.
3. Airport flay (also known as Dixie Avenue) from
Rainier Avenue to Logan Street; also Logan Street
from Airport 'Way to Eighth Avenue North.
4* Grady Way from Main Street to the south City limits.
5• Sunset Avenue (formerly Sunset Highway) from a point
three hundred feet (3001) north of Bronson Way to
the east City limits.
6. S.E. 128th Street (also known as Cemetery Road) from
"M" Street to the east City limits (Ord. No. 1502

BE AMID THE SAME IS HEREBY AMMED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
Section 10-1-107, as amended - ADDITIONAL SPED LIYaTS: The speed
on all streets within the City limits shall be twenty-five (25) miles per hour,
except that on the following.streets and highways within the City the maximum
laT&al speed shall be thirty-five (35) miles per hour, to -wit:
1. Dunlap Canyon Road (formerly State High:ray No. 10) from Rainier
Avenue to the westerly City limits.
2. Rainier Avenue from Airport Way to the northerly City limits.
3. Airport Way (also known as Dixie Avenue) from Rainier Avenue to
Logan Street; also Logan Street from Airport Way to Eighth
Avenue North.

5. Sunset Avenue (formerly Sunset Highway) from a point three
hundred feet (3009 north of Bronson Way to the east City

6. Benson Highway from its intersection with Main Street and
Grady Way to the South City limits.
7. S.E. 128th Street (also known as Cemetery Road) from "M11
Street to the east City limits.
8. Rainier Avenue from its intersection with Seventh Avenue to
153rd Street and its intersection with Primary State Highway
No. 5, also known as the East Valley Highway.
The speed limit on Primary State Highxay No. 5, also known as the
East Valley Road, from its intersection of 1531d Street and extending to its
intersection with 180th Street is hereby fixed and established at 45 miles per
hour, as the maximum lawful speed.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal pub``l//ication.
